my doorbell rang about 30mins ago, standing out side was a 30 somthing man and a very very young boy.

the young boy mumbled and stuttered and limply waved about a awake magazine at me.

i told him i wasn't interested because his religon had a bigger child abuse problem than the cathloic church, the difference is jw's cover it up better.

Highdose, I think you did a great job. I’d say that something you said resonated with him. Kudos to him for making eye contact with you – what a nice respectful young man!

RANDY WATTER'S DAD JUST DIED

randy watters, owner of freeminds.org father just died a couple of hours ago from pneumonia and alzheimers.

he was 86 years old.

as randy has been tireless in his efforts to help countless people come out of the wts, i would like to express my sincere condolences to him at this time.. .

Since millions now living will sometime retire.....

if you bought into the lie that "millions now living will never die," has the.

realization that you will very likely reach retirement age, settled in your mind just yet?.

for instance, i never looked to see if there was a 401k plan when i was in the jw cult.

Thankfully when I was 20 (and a full-on JW) I worked for a government agency and we had employer-paid superannuation (Australian 401K), and I have a small amount set aside for my retirement. It is in no way enough to live on for more than a year, but it’s better than nothing.

But thanks to the belief that Armageddon was “just around the corner”, I didn’t see the need to put down a deposit for a house and got caught in the rental trap and am now in the position where I’ll never have enough money to buy a house.

But then, I don’t have any kids to pass anything on to, so who cares?

i need a new focus.

having a lot of kids, it's easy to be wrapped up in taking care of them, and letting them be your center, but they are all gettting to that age of having their own thing.

my husband and i are good about taking time out to do things as a couple, and i've tried to get a new job off the ground.. i just still feel empty, and find myself getting sad about things that i should let me get sad.

Join Avon. Use the skills you learnt to sell religion, to sell cosmetics. There are lots of mums and older women who are home-bound so they appreciate someone coming to them with products.

I do, and I enjoy it.
